The race will be held on January 11 at Trinity Lone Oak school. General registration begins at 9am. We could use the Boy Scouts to help with games during registration to keep the younger boys busy and thus out of “trouble” as we get all the cars registered. While running cars during the race isn’t fun, it’s a very helpful role. Pack 104 has two race options for the boys willing to help. We know boys are busy, and we want to make sure they have a fun way to participate in the race. Thus, we will run a special division for the boys in the troop. They can either bring a car they built as Cub Scout (it must be lead free) to race in the “Cub Scout Alumni” division or they can build a new car and have the option of racing it in the alumni division or the Master’s division (against pack leaders and parents).
Boys who are racing can arrive at 8:30 to register their car, and 8:45 for those just coming to help.
